			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stephen Bero, Director of the Warren-Newport Public Library District, will facilitate a panel to address the increasingly widespread animus in this country that not only should government agencies not raise taxes, they should in fact lower them. </p>
<p>On the panel will be Sam Yingling, Avon Township Supervisor, who will talk about how and why he and his town board reduced its levy last year; a report from Cindy Fuerst, Director of the Vernon Area Public Library District, on her board’s decision to keep their levies flat for the last three years; State Representatives Carol Sente of District 59 and Ed Sullivan of District 51, who will give insight into current and planned legislation affecting the PTELL; and Steve Larson, Senior Financial Advisor/Executive Vice President of Ehlers &amp; Associates, who will explain the financial consequences of a lower levy. There will be time for discussion after the panelists’ presentations.</p>
