Technology is moving librarians into new roles — some welcome, some uncomfortable, but nearly all of benefit to library patrons. New services will continue to develop even though libraries are challenged with meeting the increasing demand for service with limited staff and budget. How can we as Library Directors deal with the staffing changes and find the best way to keep our staff motivated, happy, and as part of our teams? Please join us on Friday April 16, 2010 to hear about some of the staffing challenges and successes that our panel has dealt with and come prepared to share some of your staffing concerns with the group.
Panel Presenters:
Roxane E. Bennett, Director, Dundee Township Public Library District
Stephen Bero, Warren-Newport Public Library District
Megan Millen, Director, Flossmoor Public Library
